Live-in Home Care

Personal care services are for those who benefit from an elevated level of assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, exercise and other activities. Many times, personal care services can mean the difference between staying in the comfort of your own home or moving to a variety of living environments.

 

​Personal Care Services are designed for individuals who need increased assistance with more personal areas of care. These services may be required due to decreased physical capabilities of an individual or diminishing cognitive abilities of the individual. Personal Care Caregivers undergo special dementia care training which provides them with the tools to work with cognitively impaired individuals in unique and creative ways. Having a caregiver with specialized training is key to obtaining a higher level of cooperation and reduced anxiety for the client.

 

Nursing Visits

Our highest level of care is private duty nursing, in which all clients are attended by a skilled LPN (licensed practical nurse) or an RN (registered nurse). Our skilled nurses are medical professionals; and can provide medical assistance for which CNAs or PCAs are not certified. These services are perfect for Alzheimer’s or dementia patients that need to have medications dispensed for them; hospice or post-operative clients who may need wound care or other medical services, and anyone that would benefit from clinical observation and supervision. We match the licensure level of all nurses to the specific needs of each client.

 

Companion Services

Companion services are well suited to individuals who are independent but have difficulty maintaining the activity level they desire. They are also advantageous for those who are alone frequently enough to potentially affect their emotional health and overall well-being. They are appropriate both for traditional home environments as well as assisted-living residents. Even the most independent single sometimes needs a friendly presence; a buddy with whom they can play a game of cards or who will encourage them to get dressed and go out with friends
